UAT" LLC held a seminar on combating corruption

On January 27, 2023 a seminar dedicated to ISO 37001:2016 anti-corruption management system standard was held at UAT LLC. The event was organized on the initiative of the Compliance Control Department of UAT LLC, in order to prevent corruption violations.

The seminar was held in a technical classroom on the territory of UAT LLC. The seminar was conducted by the director of SMS SYSTEMS Saidanvar Saidmakhmudov and leading consultant of SMS SYSTEMS Nazim Almedov. The head of the department on counteraction of corruption and compliance of Uzbekistan Airways JSC Azizkhon Paizullakhonovich participated in the seminar. On the part of Uzbekistan Airways Technics, the seminar was attended by the command and control personnel.

At the beginning of the event participants were welcomed and opened the seminar by the head of the Compliance Control Department of UAT LLC - Umid Valerievich. During the seminar a presentation was given and the following topics were covered in detail:

- policy and purpose of the organization;

- assessment of corruption risks;

- suitability and effectiveness of existing controls in the organization;

- analysis of corruption risk assessment;

- Development and improvement of anti-corruption management system.

The second part of the seminar was devoted to a question-and-answer discussion.
